FOG ComplianceManagement.

When the inspector walks in, you should be handing over a binder, not making phone calls.

Onyx tracks the schedule, files the manifests, and keeps the record current for every one of your Southern California sites.

The Short Answer

FOG compliance management means someone owns the schedule, the documentation, and the jurisdiction rules for every site you operate. Onyx maintains the service calendar, files disposal manifests, tracks which agency governs each location, and keeps a per-site record you can hand to an inspector on request.

Scope of Service

What We Coordinate

Service schedule ownership

Intervals set per site against the governing agency's requirements and actual accumulation.

Manifest filing

Every disposal manifest captured and logged to the site's file the day of service.

Jurisdiction mapping

Each site matched to its governing FOG program, because the rules change across city lines.

Inspection-ready records

A current per-site file: service dates, manifests, photos, hauler documentation.

Due-date tracking

Correction due dates and upcoming service dates tracked before they become violations.

Single point of contact

One person who knows your portfolio, instead of a hauler, a plumber, and a records request.

Best Fit

Built for multi-site operators.

We coordinate vendors across Southern California and Arizona so portfolio owners and property managers stop chasing receipts and start running buildings.

Multi-site restaurant groups
Quick service and fast casual chains
Grocery and prepared foods
Hotels and banquet operations
Convenience stores with kitchens
Institutional and school dining
How It Works

One call. We handle the rest.

01

Reach Out

Send a request through the portal, by text, or by phone. We capture scope, site notes, and access details.

02

Dispatch

We assign a vetted cleaning vendor from our local network with the right crew size, schedule, and equipment.

03

Complete

Crews execute the scope on time. We verify with photos and checklists, not just signatures.

04

Confirm

You get completion confirmation, documentation, and one invoice across every site in your portfolio.

Why owners hire OnyxFM

One point of contact for every site and every crew
Vetted, insured local vendors under our coordination
Photo-verified completion, not just a signed ticket
One flat monthly fee instead of chasing invoices

How enforcement actually escalates.

Nobody gets shut down out of nowhere. It moves in steps, and every step is documented against your facility.

1

Inspection

A FEWD inspector visits the site and reviews the interceptor, the maintenance records, and the discharge conditions.

2

Correction due date

If an issue is found, the facility is given a date by which it must be corrected.

3

Notice of Violation

Once the due date passes without correction, an NOV is issued along with an administrative fee.

4

Escalation

Continued non-compliance can move to administrative hearings, permit revocation, and ultimately termination of sewer service.

Your sites are not all under the same rules.

A group with locations in San Diego, El Cajon, Santee, and Chula Vista is running under four different FOG programs with four different sets of requirements. That is the part that quietly breaks in-house tracking. Onyx maps each site to its governing agency and runs the schedule against that agency's rules, not a single generic interval.

  • City of San Diego (FEWD)
  • El Cajon
  • Santee
  • Chula Vista
  • Padre Dam Municipal Water District
  • Los Angeles County sanitation districts
  • Orange County sanitation districts
  • Inland Empire agencies

What "the binder" actually contains.

  • Service dates for every interceptor at every site
  • Disposal manifests from the licensed hauler
  • Hauler documentation and license records
  • Before and after photos tied to each visit
  • Best management practice records
  • The next scheduled service date per site
  • Permit and plan-review documentation where applicable

Onyx maintains this documentation on your behalf. Regulatory compliance obligations remain with the permitted facility.
